Geraldine over the Years
On this page I have included a number of my favourite pictures of my Golden Girl as a youngster
These picture include some posed studio photographs and some snapshots taken with a bog standard Brownie. Most of these photos just happen to be pictures I had with me which Norma has sent me over the years
This is one of my favorite images
This an all time favourite shot of both Norma and myself,(you can see why she was called daddies Golden Girl) and it shows what an absolutely divine little girl she was
This is another one of my favorite images
This photograph is another of the set which had been professionally done in a studio and one I can look at forever. The original of this picture was severly damaged and this picture is the result of some extensive digital repair procedure carried out by myself, I am rather proud of the end result.
This one is a school photograph from Westoe Infants School
She was always a beautiful delightful and thoughtful little girl, no one could pass her by without remarking how pretty she was. I think that had something to do with the fact that even if mammy was only going to the local shops, several dresses were taken along to change, she was always spotless.
This is Geraldine growing up
This picture shows Geraldine beginning to grow up and show an interest in fashion. She has always had her own ideas on how she should dress, however her mammy was a big influence on this as she was very fashionable herself.
Believe it or not we were enjoying this party
This shows Gerealdine as a pirate (she hasn't changed a bit), the picture was taken at a Christmas party in Owen Drive childrens home where Norma was a residential Social Worker
Geraldine & Rosie waiting for dinner
How about this for a pair of pirates?
This is Davy the pirate with the "ould witch" he married !!!
